My New Form Of Content! (YouTube)
YouTube Here I Come!
so, I've decided to create a YouTube channel. This is out of my comfort zone, but sometimes we need to push ourselves to seek greatness.
I'm not that good on camera. I'm self conscious and forgetful when it comes to saying what I want to say in front of a camera.
With all that said I still did it. I started by making a screen recording for a tutorial. Now I've bit the bullet and bought a vlogging camera (Cannon M100) and started filming myself.
Needless to say I must have took over 10 takes to get the first few lines out. I did it though! And now I'm in the process of editing my film. I have the editing software from before because I always wanted to start a YouTube channel.
I know it will take some time and experience before I get good at it, but I'm striving for greatness!
This doesn't mean you can't be great unless you have a YouTube channel because you definitely can!
What I'm saying is, I know it takes many different forms of content to be successful in the niche I'm in which is the make money online niche. I want to have a coaching platform and I know video is going to be an integral part in accomplishing my goals.
People like Kyle and Carson as well as Miles Beckler and Eric Ellis are my inspiration. I want to get to the level of success that they are. And to do so, I need to think like they do.
I never thought it would be hard to just turn on the camera and hit record, but boy was I wrong! LOL.
The task of remembering what you want to say without using fillers like ummm, you know, and but are really challenging.
In time I hope this will become second nature to me and I can just record at will and say anything I want to say with no problem.
For anyone who is thinking about starting a YouTube channel I say go for it! It is a great way to get content out there and free traffic to your site.
Also if you are worried about what other people are going to say about you or worried about the internet trolls, don't be. Just keep up with it.
Remember people are going to hate and talk trash, but as long as you know in your heart what you want to accomplish then nothing can stop you.

I fetched my DSLR camera out of storage nearly three weeks ago, but it sits forlornly by me still. Sigh.

I'm interested–what software are you using for editing? I'm thinking of Director Suite 365 for a reasonable subscription of under £10/month. However, I'm already paying quite a lot of money on things like plugins and such, not to mention WA (😜), so I don't want to get anything until I'm actually going to use it.
Well done for getting there, one day I hope to follow in your footsteps.

I use Vegas studios for my editing, but I think YouTube has an editor in its dashboard.
