How do you balance a full time job and Wealthy Affiliate?

I didn't have a day job when I started at WA, but I was freelancing and raising two young kids without childcare, so I think my time management tips would still be relevant. For me, I would sit down and calculate my time.
I would use a written schedule taped to the wall and my Google calendar and try to be as disciplined as possible. I would block out the times I couldn't really control (when my kids were typically busy, when my clients needed to meet, etc.) and I would calculate how much time I had left.
With the time I had left, I would schedule in the tasks with the highest ROI to my online business: writing content, SEO, improving user experience, etc.
I would set goals of how much I wanted to accomplish and prioritize. Over time, I moved some things off of my schedule: I sent my son to school instead of homeschooling, I sent my daughter to daycare instead of having her, I keep my clients to a manageable level, I got support from my husband, etc.
And, now I am much more productive. It's babysteps. You do the best you can with what you have, and over time, you move things around to reflect your new priorities.
Hopefully, that helps.

It isn't easy, but it is totally doable. I work about 50 hours a week with my hours at the "day" job spread out through the day sometimes from early morning until late evening. I take the breaks I get from work to spend time working on my blog posts for my sites. I set aside a couple of hours each evening (unless it is one of those late nights for work) to work on catching up with e-mail, posting on here and posting on my blogs. It really is a matter of managing your time. Now if you have a family that wants your attention, too, it can be a real challenge!

By the way, I love the book you are reading in your profile photo! A lot of great info on letting go of the unimportant things!

Best wishes,
Karin :)

How can i get faster at writing great content?

Believe in yourself, and what you write, keep writing content and always go forward do that an all your writing content faster will follow.

Andre

Haha! only you can answer that - but I suggest that you create your own strategy - everyone has one that works well for them but using tips from the training.

As for myself - I use the templates that I had created, using the tips given by Kyle's posts, in which I make two - one for normal blog (non-pormotional) and one for reviews (promotional).

I use Jaaxy to research up to five different keyword sandwhiches. I save them as templates in one or the other, of normal or review.

I then go and ask myself questions about those titles and add about five different ones under each titled template - they are my headings.

You could say I have just created my skeletons, then I slowly research my five topics answering my own questions (headings) and fleshing each template out, all at the same time, but because I have ADHD, I get bored with just doing one, so I need the other templates to jump back and forth in.

Sometimes, depending on my mood or I find something that I researched I focus on one, but I also interlink my posts together (hyperlinking or content link) as I go.

Therefore, this is my strategy and I end up creating five posts at one time.

Well that is how I churn out posts quicker...not sure if anyone else has something different.

I am working on two as I am on here chatting with you...my brain needs to do different things at once or I get bored...so will go back to it now :)

All the best.

Yes, you're right. The more I blog I'm starting to develop my own little routine and things are starting to make sense to me. I'm actually starting to like blogging.
Much success to you.

Thanks for the tips!

You are welcome :)

If I join the AFFILIATE BOOTCAMP, i can only promote Wealthy Affiliate? No Clickbank products? Asking for a friend..

You can promote anything you want to Amazon , hardwood flooring , baby bottles ..whatever you want . My understanding of the affiliate bootcamp is an alternative if you couldn't pick a niche you at least could start off promoting WA ,Jaxxy < site rubix .. all great products and easy to review because you are using them daily . Just my thoughts , to your success

Thanks Rick, i really appreciate your answer. I've been focusing on the WA Affiliate program.Sorry i took so long to reply. I actually forgot I asked the question. Thanks again!
