What Do We Get In Return If We Help Others?
The above Zig Ziglar quote has always intrigued me as to what it really means.
" You Can Have Anything In Life You Want If You Will Just Help Enough People Get What They Want"
What does this mean for you?
I have always questioned things that I don't really understand and although this Zig Ziglar quote has inspired millions all over the world I don't accept it's truth and validity without getting deep down into what it means for me.
If I were to take these words literally then by now I should have everything in life I have always wanted or dreamed of.
If I were to help enough people get what they want in life would I be able to live my retirement in luxury on a yacht in the Mediterranean.
Would I want to live on a yacht in the med, well actually no, I am more than content with where I am in life at present.
What Do You Think?
I strongly believe in helping other people in this life, without thought of recompense and this is the ethos that I try to live by daily.
I also believe that when we do help others it comes back to us in other ways, Karma, Fate, Law Of The Universe or whatever you personally believe in.
There are many sayings and quotes that we take as gospel but do we really think about what they mean?

It's hard for most people to do, even my self sometimes, but the more you give, the more you are blessed and are given to in return! Jeff
I believe it means that if you sit around and do nothing for anybody then you'll get nothing in return whereas if you are active and help people then "things" will come your way as a natural result.

I like your post, it is very will express. Do not put a tag to help others. It is a sense of self fulfillment if you are in a position to be able to help others, that's more important.

Always been a far better giver than receiver somehow feels infinitely more comfortable
Yet the very act of receiving is giving someone else the opportunity to give and that might be what they need.
So sometimes receiving can be seen as giving as well
Took me 6 decades to work that out...... I get there in the end🧐
