Back To WA For The Long Term.

Hi all,

Just a short note to re-introduce myself. I joined WA around 2014/15 and was working well through it for a couple of years then was hit with some health challenges which decimated my finances and I had to take the decision to leave.

I was able to come back in 2018 as a yearly premium member and although still struggling a little health-wise I have kept my offline websites and self employment going.

Now, as with a lot of people here in UK and worldwide I find myself again having to cease my offline work for a while with Covid 19 restrictions as it involves being in customers houses, a flooring installation and cleaning business.

I have decided though that I am not going to waste this time like so many people seem to be doing so along with household and garden jobs I will be dedicating time to WA , the training and building an online presence again.

I had progressed well through the training first time around and was ranking well within WA too but I have decided to restart from the beginning with the training and view this as a long term commitment.

I will be 61 this year but feel I have a lot more to achieve and giveback for a good few years yet and financially I need to continue earning for sometime too.

My aim is to build an online presence so that when I reach government retirement age (66) and I can stop the manual work offline I will be able to continue bringing money in online for many years to help fund my retirement.

That's about it, not that short I know.

I wish you and your families a Happy Easter time and hope we all come safely through this period of uncertainty safely having achieved something great with the time of restrictions and lockdowns.

Andy.

Welcome back, Andy! Good to see you here and I'm really glad to hear you're feeling better.

You will be successful here. This might be an excellent time to go back and redo your training and ensure all the tasks are completed.

I wish you much success in your online business.

Monica

Thank You Monica, much appreciate your comment.

Welcome back Andy. I too am able to devote more time towards building my website with lock down now in the UK. We have to look to the future everything is going techno now. Shops are slowly becoming obsolete and more and more people are buying on-line.
So that's the way to go! Good luck with your ventures hope it all works out for you Andy. Look after your health and stay safe.

Thank You Julia, much appreciate your reply, good luck with your online journey.

Welcome back, Andy! You've got a sound plan!

Jeff

Thank You Jeff, much appreciated.

You're very welcome, Andy!

Hi Andy - welcome back and best of luck

I am in similar situation as you. I joined WA in Feb 2016 and then found a very demanding full time job in a bank in July 2016 which involved a lot of travelling and lasted till Feb 2020 so I could not give any time to my website at all.

Your post has given me a boost and I am now determined to spend lot more time on training and building the website. I am 69 years old and this seems a good way to earn some money as the chances of finding another demanding full time job seem pretty slim at this age and in the current adverse global situation.

Thanks again for the encouragement.

Kind Regards
Syed

Many thanks Syed, I much appreciate you taking the time out to reply.

Similar to yourself my offline business has taken up all of my time and it has taken this enforced lockdown to realise age catches up with us and it makes sense to look and plan ahead.

I have come to realise this online business is not a race but a journey, there will be ups and downs along the way but it will be worth it to reap the rewards down the line.

All the best in your endeavours,

Andy.

Hey Andy,

that's a great time frame. I'm sure you can do it - just be consistent.

When everything gets back to normal, don't forget WA and follow the training and continue working on your sites - even if it's at least 1 blog post a week.

You want to keep the momentum going and in 5 years, you won't regret the extra work you did on the side since it will pay off and make sure you live better for the rest of your life.

Keep up the good work and don't give up!

Thank you DarioL, I much appreciate your encouragement.

Andy.
