If I referred someone to WA how do I get the credit for the referral.
After they have completed their profile by adding an photo/image and a brief description about themselves. You will get $1.00 for Free Starter membership Account.
Thank you but how would they know that I referred them, is there something that will ask them who referred them? Or is there something I am supposed to fill out?
Hi,
First, you will receive an email from WA that an invitation is accepted. You can check your referral here.
Secondly, you can set up your welcome message to your referral so that they know you are the one who refer them to WA. You can type anything in the message box.
Thank you, so I guess they have to indicate somewhere in setting up their profile that I referred them.

If have a name I want to secure for my online business can that be done through Wealthy Affiliate, and should it be an LLC or a S Corp. I google that question and a company ca
The cost of filing for an LLC is different in each state. In Colorado, for instance, you can file online, do all the paperwork and research yourself with provided links, pay the fee online, and instantly get approved (or not) for your company name and assigned your EIN for tax purposes. You can have an accountant do it for you, or a service, but it's under $80 to do on your own.
You actually have to go to an accountant to set up an LLC. LLC is the best way to go to prevent your personal assets from getting mixed with business assets should you get sued and for tax purposes.
I spoke to my accountant about this a while back. In order to become a legitimate business, they have to file paperwork with whatever jurisdiction you live in. They also have to publish a short announcement in the classified section of the local newspaper announcing the formation of your new LLC for 8 weeks running.
So there are some significant costs involved. I was quoted about $800 by my accountant, but I am in NYC which is very expensive.
I do not recommend an online company for this as you can get screwed if they don't do it properly. In this instance, you need face to face consult with a live accountant or lawyer.
Without doing this, a name is just a name. It doesn't have any legitimacy and someone else can come along and snap it up and sue you if you continue to operate under that name.
None of this is fair, but that's the way it works in the US. I do not know the process in other countries. I can only guess that it's probably similar.
I technically have 4 businesses and all four are LLCs ran as S Corporations.
3 physical, 1 internet
There are many benefits to this that your tax pro can explain better than I can here.
Best of success !

If you have chosen a name for your online business can you get it copy written or secured through the Wealthy Affiliates start up system?
There are many answers here that answer you questions.
I will add this
You will need to purchase a domain name to secure it.
Hope it helps
Need further research, this is sometimes not easy, can ask for help with the ambassador, sure there is a solution
LLC holds more authority than any other. I have no idea how to determine legitimacy other than doing research on each source and going from there.
