Getting used to content creation!

Hello Monday!

Now that I jumped straight into making a new future with Wealthy Affiliate. I realized that I really need to get some new habits going. The main one being content creation.

I have always loved sharing the things that I learn with others, but typically not in writing. I'm quite comfortable writing when I get that spark! But now, I have to get into the habit of doing it when there's no spark at all. Urgh...(I'm sure many can relate to that...!)

So, here's the perfect opportunity to start!

I'm currently on the 3rd lesson of course 2 and things are really starting to come together.

I've got my website and some blurbs here and there of content! All this in the matter of days!

I have to admit that at first I was not totally convinced about my chosen niche. I had a couple of others in mind, but since I already had some content related to one of my possible choices, that's the one I chose. (I will link to the website soon.)

During this quest to create this new habit I have found that just letting the flood gates open works some of the time, but not always. After reading in various places that if you are stuck you should start by letting your stream of consciousness flow out onto the page, I have noticed that a good prompt sometimes works wonders.

A great way to find prompts is browsing Pinterest. People pin so many quirky things that after a few minutes(or more) I can usually find something related to my niche that gets those juices flowing! And the best part about it is that it's usually visual. This can be way more motivating than just words on the page, because now you also have some imagery to write around.

Anyway, now I can add my first blog post to the list of my accomplishments! Hopefully it's helpful to someone...
