Are you Using Social Media?

Social media can be a traffic-generating tool that you must use to attract traffic to your website or blog. When you use social media to drive traffic to your blog or website, you will begin to see an increase in activity on your website or blog.

Optimize Your Profile

Optimize your profile with a picture or likeness of you, and a brief bio about who you are. This will help create trust with potential customers. Being personable provides your website visitors a way of realness.

Engage together with your Audience Consistently

Setting up the profile isn't enough. You must consistently engage with your audience on regular basis. You want them to follow you. When you positively engage with them, you begin a relationship with your audience, they come to rely on hearing from you.

To get traffic to your site, you want to post relevant content that attracts your reader. One way is to consistently share your content and updates on a social media platform. Add your website to your business page on Facebook, or Instagram.

Make Your Content More Visual

The more visual your content on social media, the more likely it's to be shared. Use relevant images and videos in your content. One thing to recollect, though, is that if you post anything with words in it (even if it’s just a meme), you would like to place the words within the text area of the post so that the search engines catch it. And also, just an aside but a crucial one, so that people with certain disabilities also can see it.

Where is your Audience?

Another way to urge attention is to work out when your audience is actively using the platform. that's once you want to post your content, go survive video, post your poll, or announce your contest. it's going to take some testing to work out once they are there, but once you are doing, this is often getting to explode your results, getting links back to your blog or website.

Keep your audience interested

One way to keep your audience interested is to engage them. Supply your audience with an arsenal of information via top 5 lists, newsletters, etc, This type of activity will get your audience’s attention because it's different and can catch their eye. It’s important to have a focus, you don’t want an activity that has no direction. Know what your call to action is and you'll succeed with these traffic-generating methods of polls, Q & As, contests then forth.

Get to understand Your Competition

This may not seem to possess much to try to do with you getting traffic, but it'll offer you tons of excellent information. See what your competitors do, and do more of that, and roll in the hay slightly better.

Work with Social Influencers

This is super-fast thanks to boosting your traffic even once you don’t have tons of followers yourself. Contact several social media influencers to try to do something with you that gets the eye of your audience.

Social media is one of the best traffic-generating tools that exist today. If you stay consistent with posting regularly on social media, you’ll boost your traffic to your website or blog. Remember, more traffic means more opportunities to make money.

Share your experiences with social media, how has it worked or not worked for you! Andy and all comments are welcome!

Thank you Rudy!

You're welcome!

This is great, Rudy, and I also read Tim M's post on social media, which was interesting where he places less emphasis on it.

I do lots on social media, but I think I need to slim it down and pick one and do it well. I am a big fan of Pinterest. Great advice, thanks for posting! Phil

Thanks Phil!

Great post Rudy! Being visible is important for traffic indeed. regular posting is good for traffic.

Thanks, Hilde!

We want to invest more time finding reputable social influencers, not all would be genuine, we recently learned to go for those who have micro followers vs a mega large follow, something worth noting.

We also found this tool buzzsumo . com/find-influencers/

Nice blog post Rudy, hope you guys are enjoying a super blessed Sunday.

Yes, I've heard of buzzsomo. And yes, lock onto the ones who are just starting, they will be more hungry for your attention.

I have more lawn to mow, unfortunately, I forgot to charge the magavolt battery yesterday, and it's charging now. Will finish later. In the meantime, I'm catching up online...

Thanks for your reply, AbieAJ.
