Quick little dittie about newsletters and Elementor

When I set up the page, I used an Elementor block for the footer. Inside, was a newletter signup. In the left column, there is room to edit the field sections, and I was able to correctly set it up.

HOWEVER....

I tried it out, and the signup only send the person's email to my default email address (properly, to the correct email on my end), yet, that is ALL it does...

No welcome message etc.

So, instead of trying to make that work, I decided to go with Aweber....I've been aware of Aweber from the beginning of my online marketing adventure, and way back then, it was one of the most high priced autoresponders...(ok, Fusion Soft was higher...)

Today, Aweber has caught up with the times, and provides a lucrative offer of free use for the first 500 emails per month...

DUDE!!

By the time I receive half that many, I hope I'm also bringing in some income, so when I break that 500 rank, the monthly price is covered by what I earn...That's what we hope for, right? That we aren't alwasy shelling out the cash/money to pay for things...the pendulum has got to swing back at some point...

Anyway, I started this to ask a question about the setup, when I decided I'm going to pull that newletter signup and create a 'real' one, as I've received 3 emails already!!

Refresher, my scammers are infants, and my website is fine...
