New Website Just Indexed by Google!
Now hear this!
That statement comes to mind when I see the image I've used a few times...
Yep, I created a new website, and have received the nod by the big G. WAH-HOO!
I was surprised, but at the same time I felt pretty good, because I knew I was doing things 'right'...at least better than before. My SEO skills needed work and I took the time to go step by step so that I indexed the right pages, posts, etc.
The past week or so I haven't been on here as much. I get to a point where I'm about to catch the success wave, and back off because I think the ave is too big...Hell of an analogy, but you surfers out there get it...
I don't participate in order to 'rate', my efforts...
The ratings come because I participate by posting, asking and answering questions, post replies, etc.
Recently, I saw that my rating level was at 55, and although to break the 50 barrier is exciting, I also got spooked.
When that happens, everything I've learned gets all muddled. Nothing I do seems to get me past that point, until I realize where I'm at, and relinquish the idea of escape. I let go because my way isn't working.
I've learned that my way of processing is slow. When I load up on too much information, my brain needs time to process through, filtering and sorting to make sense of everything.
So, I find something else to do.
And now I'm back! Ready to go further and become the success I know I can be. So, to get the index alert for a new website was exciting because I know the index was for my first POST, not a page hit.
Jump! (the word my friend uses when they mean to segue)
I had a wonderful few days over the Thanksgiving holiday. Great company, better food, lol, and a huge break away from online work, something I sorely needed.
TTFN...
