Doo, Doo, Doo, Lookin Out My Back Door
Literally....as the song says..
The past 3 out of 4 days, snow fell for a few hours, to leave a white top coat. This morning just after midnight, I caught Mother Nature in the act, which was different as the other mornings I arose to find the ground covered in white.
This was the heaviest layer so far, and when the temps are hovering at 37 deg F in the sunny daytime, rhe nights are 27-28 deg F, this might last a little longer before melting under the sun's winter glare.
For those of you who may be reading my posts for the first time or it's been awhile, I reside in the pacific northwest area (WA state...the other WA), on the west side of the Cascades, and we get the occasional snow. Not every year, and usually a couple of inches like you see here.
Just thought I would share...
Andhow was your morning?

We're currently having a mixture of snow, sleet & freezing rain here with temperatures only in the mid 20's F. This is all coming on top of the inch of snow we got yesterday. The forecast doesn't have us getting above the freezing mark until Saturday.
I live in the hills of the Ozarks, and this kind of weather shuts pretty much everything down around here. It's a good day to stay inside.
Wow, snow on top of snow...reminds me of the song, On top of old smokey...for some reason...grin.
Definitely a day to stay inside, warm and fed...

Yeah me too got snow here in Gresham. Oregon. People here call it dusting. Also near east of Cascade - Mount Hood.
