Hey, I'm at a roadblock. Can't imagine I'm not passionate about anything. Any pointers for finding a niche besides keyword training, surveys, etc... I am doing Bootcamp now, but
I've chosen something I have always wanted to study. Its fun, helpful and while I learn it. I can also help others who have not started. So long as you are interested in learning. it can become a passion because you are enjoying it. Hopefully you chose something that you can investigate related affiliates that you can ad to your site and make sales from assisting others in the sales of their products. Its a win win situation. All the best to you
It is better to choose a subject area that you know something about. Maybe a hobby or an interest. A niche can be anything in all honesty.
What do you do in your spare time? what do you like?
It is better to pursue something like this. Yes OK, WA gives you the bootcamp to promote WA... but if it is not a niche that you are comfortable doing, then you will not make progress.
It is ideal to do something where it will not seem like work but more something you enjoy.
Do you like reading? Do you play an instrument? Hiking, skiing? farming? anything!!
Totally agree with Chris, if its something you are knowledgeable about it will make the task of writing content and answering questions so much easier.
For instance you get a question about your last post and from it you are able to write another 400 words to answer the question from the top of your head, which gives you more thoughts on what people are looking for to write more posts.
This is a lot harder if you have to research the question out first on Google. So go with a hobby or activity you do.
Don't worry too much about how much you know because as you read and write you will become an authority in no time.
This is a roadblock for a lot of people.
What I would suggest is going on a website like Amazon.com and look at all of the products. You can sell any of them through the Amazon Affiliate program. See if anything catches your eyes, if it does, ask yourself if it's something you would enjoy writing about, and then make yourself an expert in that kind of item and start building your business from there!

Pretty good advice. So we can learn together, right? Or, I'll learn as I'm teaching.
