Widgets, SEO and Themes

Hello all.

I am getting more confused on how the Themes and Widgets work on our websites.

I have the all in one SEO, a selected theme-Agama. When I try to move my widgets around I can not seem to get them placed where I like them. I also want the date removed next to my pages taht have been posted.

Where can I get the trainging that simplifies this process.

Right now I am not to happy with the viewing of my outlay on my website.
