Greetings WA.
Been thinking about health insurance for awhile - namely how does a WA get health insurance? I currently live in the USA and the government has changed the health insurance requirements for individuals.
I have been employed full-time in order to have benefits, but I am curious as to how individuals obtain insurance if they don't have a full-time, part-time job with benefits or if they don't have a spouse.
I have asked a few members and they have shared advice. Shopping around on the Marketplace from healthcare.gov is one option. One member suggested Freelancersunion.org.
Any ideas?

I am also in the USA, and WA doesn't provide you with health insurance, but you can apply to medicare, blue cross blue shield, obama care, or any other health insurance company. If you are eligible, I would take advantage of Medicaid.
More than likely not, but possible.

That would be really cool if WA offered health insurance. All members would have access to getting needed coverage. Sounds sweet. Think Kyle and Carson would be interested?
I've been looking at the plans available through multiple insurance companies - glad that there a few options but quite pricey. Good thing though that people can have some time of insurance.
Insurance is very complicated, I don't forsee that in WA's future...

Yeah you got that right. I was unemployed for a while and needed to sign up for Obamacare and was amazed at how complicated insurance really is. Definitely thankful to have health insurance - be curious though if Kyle or Carson ever thought about offering some kind of insurance program.
