Plans to build my own AI module
Last Update: May 29, 2023
So, as if I don't already have to much to do and so little time to do it, I now want to add downloading an open source AI program and train it myself.
The Problem?
I don't know programming, hah hah.
So as I do when I want to do something I'm ignorant in, I just enrolled in a Python boot camp.
I'm telling you, with all the learning here and now the learning there by the end of summer I'm going to have one of those large heads to hold the immense size of me brain.
Recently I posted here about an internal document leak from Google saying they had lost the battle with open source AI.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/01jason/blog/leaked-google-document-purports-to-show-google-is-losin....
I was actually ruing my lack of python knowledge for this very reason at the start of the year.
On another forum I lurk at, one of the folks there had already been training his own for some time, using his knowledge of Python to create his own AI structure.
His ability to put together sites quickly using an AI program that was fed with real facts one of several advantages he had over the public AI.
He claimed as well that his was capable of producing polished posts that needed little to no tweaking.
I can see where my investment now, although sidetracking me over the next few months, will give me an edge in productivity come fall.
Listening to the mentors.
I already see where this AI is going to devastate so much of what we know. Especially much of the white collar sector.
I read folks here I consider to be mentors, like Diane, mentioning the future will be ready for those who learn how to operate the AI now. I'm not wording it like she did, but you get the gist.
I believe over the coming months as I get training here on the public AI that so many like Diane, Phil and soon WA itself offer, I'll have a perfect view on what I wish to shape the one I'll structure once I know programming to be able to perform.
We're never to old to learn.
In fact, it seems apparent to me that in the fast changing world that has replaced the one from my youth those who refuse will become casualties.
If I can do this, anyone else can as well.
Don't allow the thoughts of being put out deter you. The best investment we can make is in ourselves.
At the beginning of the year, seeds had been planted in me, on coding and AI. But the soil in my mind wasn't ready yet for it to grow yet.
Being immersed in those of you here who blaze new trails and share what you find have given me that soil to seek to be a trail blazer of my own.
I thank those of you who have sparked this in me, which includes the community that has been asking so many questions on these AI threads.
That is one of the intangibles of learning beside so many others who are learning because they want to learn. Genuine curiosity that sparks questions and answers of value.
I hope you all have a great day.
Regards,
Jason

Good luck, Jason! You are a better man than I am! I wish you all the best success in this endeavor!

Hi, Jason
That sounds very cool, and I know you can do it! 👍
As Diane mentioned, ChatGPT can write and debug Python code for all your AI needs.
I'll just use the pre-trained AI generative models in ChatGPT and Bard for now since I write the majority of the content for my articles.
However, it's something to keep in mind when I build the giant robot army for my hidden volcano lair. Lol 😎
Have a Rocking Day! 🤘

Hi Frank,
I get that ChatGPT can write code, but as one totally ignorant on the process I'm not sure how much of that can be done for running the actual open source code and knowing how to set it up just right for my needs.
I figure it best if I know the code so there isn't any miscommunication in setting up specific parameters, as well as there are many benefits to knowing the code and why it needs to say this or that. Plus, it is helpful in so many other areas.
There is a reason that Google is afraid of open source and I figure being able to personally set one up properly knowing what I'm doing will not only be a help in this, but is a skill that can translate into other possible revenue sources as well.
Plus, it will help me down the road if you succumb to the dark side of rock and roll minions and I need to protect the world from any million dollar ransoms you might seek. :D

Jason
Hi, Jason
I think ChatGPT can really help you accelerate the learning process with respect to mastering Python.
You can use it to check the validity of the code you write, etc. Think of it as you own coding lab.
Hahaha, it’s hard to find high quality minions these days so I might need all that money! 💰💰💰😎
Rock On! 🤘
Frank 🎸
Hi Frank,
I was thinking the same thing as well on using ChatGPT to help me with my studies. I also think that practicing with it in general will give me a better idea once I'm ready to run my own on what commands I like, and what I think might be missing.
I've heard some horror stories on folks trying to use minions from Fiverr and getting low quality miniins.
Regards,
Jason
Hi, Jason
Let me know how that's working for you. I think it's a fantastic way to help you learn Python!
Yeah, I don't use minions from Fiverr; they're a bit lazy and too temperamental, but what can you expect for five bucks each?
I call 1-800-646-4667, but you need the secret password.
(Hint: What physical measurement has magnitude and direction?)
Buy ten minions during their "Mastermind Month" sale, and you get this free mug! Lol
Rock On! 🤘

Hi Frank,
Just woke up briefly and as I sit here my mind in a fog, I'm trying to put together Microsoft and vectors hah hah.

Hi, Slavka
All three movies were great, and there are a few “Minions” spinoff movies!
I love “El Macho,” (third movie), who rides a great white shark with dynamite strapped to it into an active volcano! Lol 😂
Have a Rockin’ Weekend! 🤘
Frank 🎸
Hi Frank,
Sorry I missed your question.
Yes, I saw the original Despicable Me, and thought it was hilarious. :)
Rocking 🤘 😎 🎸
🦈🧨🌋???
I must see that, I did not see that
"El Macho".
Thank you, Frank.
Be well.
Slavka 👋
Haha, no problem.
That was what my post was about, with the minions mug image and the clues about “Vector” plus the phone number (1-800-minions). Lol 😎
The are two more Despicable Me movies plus some Minions movie spin-offs.
Hi - you don't even really need to learn to code anymore.
If you look at my AI generated site listed on my profile, you will see that each post has an Infographic table.
I simply give ChatGPT a very specific prompt, saying what I require, and for it to be generated in HTML.
Takes a few seconds, and then I simply paste the result in a Custom HTML block.
Hi Diane,
For what I'm wanting to do I'll need to know Python. I do plan on learning ChatGPT but by years end I want to have my own AI with only curated information I've selected put into it. I do believe learning ChatGPT will aid me a lot in understanding different functions when it comes time to shaping my own.
For the record, the posts you share with us are pure gold and have influenced me a lot in moving forward in this.
Regards,
Jason
Thank you kindly!
I asked ChatGPT about Python.
"Yes, I can generate Python code to build an AI module. Please provide more details about the specific AI module you want to create, such as its purpose, functionality, or any specific requirements you have in mind."
Well earned Diane.
Once I understand Python from the Boot camp, it sounds like I might be able to get some free training from ChatGPT :D
I know there are AI programs that can do programming, but I feel it necessary to know myself at least the basics.

Good for you, Jason! Best of luck to you with your new venture,

Hi Susan,
Thank you. :)
