Wealthy Affiliate - My Story

Hi there :-)

This blog is for all the brand new members, the free sign ups, those people wondering about whether or not they have to pay for premium or not, those that are wondering if WA is just another money making scheme that makes a few rich at the expense of many "poor" individuals. This blog is for all those new comers that are wondering how long it will take to "make money" here at Wealthy Affiliate.

I wasn't willing to pay a CENT!

My friend told me about Wealthy Affiliate in October 2014 as she knows I'm always up for learning new ways of earning extra income online, I've tried Youtube and adsense, Facebook advertising etc and I've made a GRAN TOTAL of $1,45 over the last 12 months from that.

When I arrived home that day I immediately started researching Wealthy Affiliate to see what its all about. Everything I could find on every platform looked good other than a few people that posted negative reviews but I could actually see that, from what they were posting, they were just lazy and wanted money to come in by some miracle without working for it.

I signed up for the free membership and as I have said above, I wasn't willing to pay a cent for anything extra. I needed money, I needed money NOW!........ So I worked and worked wondering if I would make money in a week or two......

I started working my way through the free training and completed it all at around 3am that morning.

I then realized what kind of potential this training could have and how it may better my life as a whole. I realized that WA teaches people how to build profitable websites..... Which is awesome, I never had the money to go to college for that like my friends all did. I then realized that this could be a way out for me, a way out of my pathetic day job, a way out of the 3rd world country I live in.

So I signed up for the premium membership that same morning. I proceeded through the training without sleeping at all that night and the following night I had around 3 hours sleep.

I now wake up at 5am instead of 6:30 so that I can squeeze in some extra work online before I go to work. When I get home from my day job I make a cup of coffee and start working online, I stopped watching TV, I stopped playing video games, I cut down on visiting friends and family and I'm hardly ever on Facebook anymore which is a drastic change.

Here's the thing, TV, Video games Facebook and MOST other pastimes in life ARE NOT going to get me anywhere in life.

If you want to succeed in creating a lucrative business (successful website) you got to WANT to succeed......... You have to want it more than you want to watch TV, you have to want it more than you want to party, you have to want it more than any other distraction. Then and ONLY THEN will you get it.

If you rather want to spend hours and hours on your couch, then that's what you WILL be doing... and here is a hidden message, there are people that weren't able to read this blog up to this point, they are not going to succeed, there is a lot of reading material ahead for you and the fact that you read this blog to this point means a lot, its actually a pity that the "lazy" people aren't going to see these words but anyway.

So, in closing........

1. You will have to pay for premium if you want LEARN how to build a VERY SUCCESSFUL online business of your choice.
2. You will have to work through all the training here at WA and spend around 6 to 12 months WORKING on your website before you earn a decent income from it.
3. You will have to have patience and a willingness to learn even when it gets tough.
4. You will have to control your temper, I have A LOT of patience and there were a few times where I lost my temper..... calmed myself down and carried on.
5. You HAVE to WANT to accomplish your goals MORE than anything else, otherwise you'll land up doing ..... anything else, except accomplish your goals.

I'm sure I could make a list with a hundred points but these are the most essential.
