WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg - Time to Play With Blocks
WordPress version 4.9.8 has just been released. And with it an invitation to try out the Gutenberg plugin.
As this is a minor release your website may have updated already to the new version. Minor releases ae usually automatic as they fix bugs and security issues.
So what are you waiting for?
Install the Gutenberg plugin and have a play with it. It will soon be part of WordPress core so you now have a chance to get ahead of the learning curve.
Please remember that even after Gutenberg becomes the default WordPress editing system there will be a plugin to revert back to the classic editor.
Check out my earlier post and the Gutenberg training.

Any chance of getting a plugin that can make it rain!!!!!!!!!! in OZ....
Thank you, Marion! These are awesome links and trainings that will keep me busy for awhile. I appreciate all that you've put together so we can be prepared for the changes.
I see you've been busy, Marion! Thanks for the timely post. Should be interesting. You're always on top of things! :)
Marion,as always, thank you for sharing timely and relevant information with us.Have a good weekend.
I’m guessing that Divi users will need to use the plugin that reverts it back to classic. This will be interesting.
Yes, it will be interesting. Most theme developers have been preparing for Gutenberg. Perhaps there will be more information on the theme's own website.

Thanks so much for sharing this!
I noticed this change a few minutes ago when I into WordPress to make some changes - again... WordPress and I have not been getting along too well this week!
My next stop is following the links you've provided - I'm hoping this update will simplify things.
